Together, we made Key to Hope a powerful success

On Wednesday, September 23, more than 1,100 supporters, partners, community leaders, staff and residents came together at The Westin Seattle for Key to Hope: Home Changes Everything.

The energy in the room was incredible, and so was the generosity. Together, we raised more than $1.5 million to support the homes and care that help Plymouth residents heal, rebuild, and thrive.

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, invited a friend, or helped spread the word: thank you. Your generosity helps Plymouth keep showing up for neighbors who have experienced chronic homelessness, providing not only a safe place to live, but the support and community that make a different future possible.

Plymouth Housing’s signature luncheon supports the homes and care that help our neighbors rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness. It’s a chance to gather as a community, hear powerful stories, and recommit to what’s possible when people have a safe place to live.

Is there a dress code for this event?

The recommended dress code for this event is business casual attire.

What is a Table Captain?

Our Table Captains are individuals who volunteer to host a table of guests (10 per table). Becoming a Table Captain is free!

Table Captains can also become Table Sponsors by sponsoring their table at $2,500 and encouraging all of their guests to give the suggested donation of $250, doubling their impact.

Can I register if I don't have a Table Captain?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to attend Key to Hope, even without a Table Captain. When you register, just write “N/A” in the Table Captain field.

Is it really free to attend?

To make Key to Hope as inclusive as possible, attendees are not required to pay to access the event. However, this is also a major fundraiser for Plymouth Housing: To help us reach our fundraising goal, we suggest a donation of $250 or more at the event.

What does Plymouth Housing do?

Plymouth Housing is one of the largest providers of permanent supportive housing (PSH) in King County. Since 1980, we’ve been providing homes, healing, and hope, so that our neighbors who have experienced chronic homelessness can thrive. We believe that housing is a human right — and the first step to a more stable life. Currently, Plymouth provides homes to nearly 1,500 individuals at 18 apartment buildings throughout the county. For the cost equivalent of one month in a hospital or 3.5 months in a King County jail, we provide 365 days of housing plus critical support services. And, our approach works — 95% of residents remain safely and stably housed after moving into a Plymouth home.
