Plymouth’s Fine Arts Fair: A Vibrant Success

Posted July 30, 2013

On July 12, Plymouth hosted its first-ever Fine Arts Fair. The fair featured more than 60 original works of art by Plymouth residents. Nearly all of the work sold, much of it within the first hour. All proceeds went directly to the artists.

The commercial space on the ground floor of the Langdon and Anne Simons Senior Apartments was converted into an art gallery, and became one of more than 20 stops featured on the Belltown Art Walk gallery map.

Plymouth staff celebrate a great turnout.

Many thanks to all who came out on this magical summer evening to experience the joy and spirit of this exhibit. Huge thanks to the staff, residents and volunteers who planned, organized and championed this innovative community event.

Plymouth is especially grateful to its partner Path with Art for providing the gallery materials for the evening and so many opportunities year-round for Plymouth residents to enjoy creative expression, personal growth and greater stability through art.
