You helped create history by doubling the amount raised online in 2011 through GiveBIG–this year brought in a whopping $7.4 million for local nonprofits in just one day!
Every gift made yesterday was stretched by The Seattle Foundation and GiveBIG campaign sponsors. Thank you for giving to Plymouth, helping even more people leave homelessness behind forever.
You helped us raise $15,600 through online gifts! Due to your generosity, an anonymous donor is giving an additional $5,000 for a total of $20,600!
These gifts mean Plymouth can fund:
- Eight community meals for all of our residents
- 150 Welcome Baskets full of towels, bed sheets, dishware, toiletries and emergency food items for residents just coming off the streets into housing
- A fully-furnished apartment home, with on-site case management support for a chronically-homeless person to move off the streets for good.
While Plymouth was not a lucky winner of a $1,000 Golden Ticket, many other wonderful nonprofits were randomly awarded the additional gifts:
