Luncheon Keynote Richard Dreyfuss toured several Plymouth properties on September 30. A long-time Plymouth resident, Mary Millet (left) was thrilled to meet Mr. Dreyfuss and show off her permanent home at Plymouth.

Our annual “Key to Hope luncheon” held on Friday, September 30, at the Westin Hotel was a great success.

With generous matching gifts by our corporate supporters and a few additional gifts sent in after the day of the lunch, the luncheon raised more than $435,000 for Plymouth’s supportive housing programs. In addition, thanks to the support provided by two very generous family foundations, we met our $200,000 Matching Challenge which matched all gifts $250.00 and above. With the matching challenge, the luncheon revenue exceeded $635,000.

All of the gifts made at the Luncheon this year support Plymouth Housing Group’s new Sustaining Hope Capital Campaign for new and refurbished homes. In January 2012, we will break ground on a new building, the Williams Apartments, in South Lake Union. This new residence will provide supportive homes for over 80 homeless people who are intent on recovery from addiction. More information on this campaign is now available on our website.

You can also view our Annual Video featured at this year’s luncheon, showing how our residents have transformed their lives since living in a Plymouth apartment.
