Seattle Dances! 2010

What a night! Seattle Dances! held last Saturday night at Fremont Studios was a rousing success, raising over $425,000 for Plymouth Housing Group! The audience was wowed beyond belief by the amazing performances–-all eight of our amazing Celebrity Dancers and their professional partners really knocked it out of the park this year.

So onto our winners! First, the Cyber Choice Mirror Ball Trophy for the most money raised online went to SMR Architect and Tango Master, Doug Ito and his partner, Lera Thompson! Together, the eight dancers raised over $39,000 online in support of Plymouth!

Second, the People’s Choice Mirror Ball Trophy went to DeLille Winery/O Wines owner and Salsa Queen, Stacy Lill and her partner Marcelo Garces!

Finally, our Celebrity Judges awarded the Judges’ Choice Mirror Ball Trophy to owner of

Thank you for your wonderful, passionate performances! The other five Celebrity Dancers were winners as well–-capturing the audience’s hearts and souls with their commitment, passion and creativity–-a huge round of applause and endless thanks to Leigh Canlis and her partner Joshua Sturgeon, Lynn Beck and her partner Mark Kihara, Dean Jones and his partner Alison Cockrill, Chad Mackay and his partner Deron Hayes, and Tamara Wilson and her partner Dean Paton.

While she didn’t win a trophy this year, last year’s Judges’ Choice Winner, Colette Courtion and her back up dancers Ricki Mason and Tanya Harris, wrapped up the evening’s performances with their knock-out, over-the-top Lady Gaga interpretation, complete with Bad Romance and massive wigs. The dancers together raised over $60,000 in the room during some really competitive bidding after they danced, and altogether, the fantastically successful evening raised over $425,000 for Plymouth Housing Group programs and services!
