Benefits

Plymouth Housing is committed to providing our staff with a fantastic compensation package aligned with our values. Two critically important components of this total compensation package are a rich health benefits plan affordable to each of our eligible staff members and a generous retirement plan.
Health

If you are regularly scheduled for 30 hours or more per week, you are eligible for our health benefits. This coverage begins on the first day of the month following your hire date. We are committed to being an employer of choice. We recognize how important healthcare coverage is to you and your family. This rapid eligibility helps to minimize any gap in healthcare coverage that a new employee committing to Plymouth Housing and their families might experience.

Medical Insurance. We offer a choice of two rich plans through Kaiser Permanente – a PPO and an HMO option. Kaiser Permanente is recognized as a premier health insurance carrier in our region. Our Gold standard medical plans have low deductibles and generous coinsurance. Your portion of premiums are based on your wage or salary with us and start as low as $20 per month. Additionally, the organization pays 50% of the premiums should you choose to provide coverage for your eligible dependents!

Dental Insurance. Your dental coverage will also be with a top statewide provider – Delta Dental of Washington – with no premium contributions from you. As with our Medical plan, we pay 50% of the premiums for any dependents whom you choose to have covered.

Vision Insurance. Your vision insurance will be through Vision Service Plan (VSP) and is provided at no costs to you with the organization paying 50% of the premiums for any dependents you choose to have covered.

8 free counseling sessions per distinct clinical issue per year, provided through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Paid Leave

We believe that having a healthy work life balance is important for our dedicated, hard-working staff.  If you are scheduled to regularly work 30 hours or more per week, you’ll begin accruing Paid Time Off at the rate of 21 days per year.

You will also have 10 paid holidays. In recognition of the variety of holidays our staff observe, and consistent with our value of inclusivity, the holidays are flexible so that you can use them to celebrate the holidays you observe. Finally, we also offer 4 wellness days per calendar year to support employee health and well-being. Staff receive and may use one wellness day per quarter.

Retirement – 403(b)

You are eligible to begin participating in our 403(b) upon hire, with your initial contribution beginning on the first payroll following the first of the month following your hire date.  After 1 year and 1,000 hours of service Plymouth will contribute the equivalent of 5% to your account – whether you are contributing or not! Eligible employees are regularly scheduled for 20 hours or more per week.

Additional Benefits

You will have access to a Flexible Spending Account, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and a subsidized ORCA pass.  Additionally, to help ensure your security and peace of mind, the organization pays 100% of the premiums for Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance.
