We have had a busy and community-filled fall so far, with no end to that  in sight. Read our updates to be moved by all that your support made possible and inspired by all of the ways you can make a profound difference in someone’s life (very often while having a lot of fun yourself).

Many homeless and formerly homeless people describe feeling invisible to everyone they encountered while living on the street. How Plymouth’s Memorial Quilt project evokes memories, creates legacies and nurtures community.

 

Who is that person living on the street?  Whose sister is that?  Whose uncle is that?  Whose friend is that?  Whose mother is that?  Ronnie Henderson, vice president of Fortune Bank, shares his moving and very personal answer.

 

According to a Japanese proverb, one kind word can warm three winter months. When those words help deliver household essentials and nourishing food to a Plymouth resident working hard to stretch a very limited income, that kindness is magnified many times over. It’s easy to warm hearts as well as toes.
