COVID-19 Response
Your health and safety are Plymouth’s number one priority. We have been carefully watching the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation as it develops. We’re working around-the-clock on the best ways to keep all of our residents healthy, safe, and comfortable. Here’s some of what we’re doing:
- Increasing janitorial services
- Frequently disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Working with healthcare partners to provide screenings and support
- Reducing the number of building visitors like volunteers, staff, and guests to prevent spread
- Encouraging staff and residents to keep a wider distance between them to prevent spread
- Coming up with activities for you to do at home (ask your housing case manager)

What is Covid-19?
Covid-19 is a potentially serious respiratory disease caused by a new, highly contagious coronavirus.
How can I protect myself from Covid-19?
Currently, there’s no cure for this disease. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid close contact with others, wash your hands often, and remain home except for essential trips.
I’m experiencing symptoms of coronavirus. What should I do?
Most people recover from this illness without seeking medical care. Rest, drink plenty of water, and limit contact with others as much as possible. If you’re noticing that your symptoms are worsening (chills, sweats or shortness of breath), contact building staff. They can help monitor your symptoms.

I need to go to the doctor for other medical reasons. What should I do?
A lot of clinics are closed to help slow the spread of coronavirus. Reach out to your housing case managers for assistance with your medical needs.
When will I receive my stimulus check?

What should I do if I can’t pay rent?
City officials have issued a moratorium on evictions to assist individuals who are unable to pay their rent at this time. Please reach out to your housing case manager and/or Building Coordinator to discuss any of your financial questions or concerns.
Can I have guests over?
To help slow the spread of coronavirus there are currently no guests allowed at Plymouth buildings
Where can I find food?
Food banks and grocery stores are still functioning. If age or ability are a factor, get in touch with your housing case manager. They can assist with immediate food assistance, food deliveries and state food benefits.
I’m out of work due to Covid-19. Do I qualify for unemployment?
Most individuals who meet certain requirements and are out of work due to closures related to coronavirus pandemic are eligible for unemployment resources.

Washington State 211 has a lot of resources available either over the phone or on their website. Dial 2-1-1 to ask for help finding healthcare, food, transportation, and more.
