Thank you for another successful Key to Hope! On September 25, more than 1,100 members of our community gathered at the Westin Seattle for our 21st annual luncheon. To everyone who contributed to Key to Hope, thank you for supporting Plymouth’s proven, evidence-based, and compassionate approach to ending homelessness. Together, we raised over $1.6 million!
If you were unable to join us at Key to Hope this year, there’s still time to make a gift online. Together with our supporters, we can create a future where everyone has access to the care and stable housing they need to thrive.
At this year’s event, a moving keynote address from journalist Esmy Jimenez emphasized the simple and profound ways that permanent supportive housing can provide safety and stability for people experiencing severe mental health challenges. She called for collective action and investment in innovative solutions to support individuals and entire communities. Watch the keynote:
Esmy Jimenez is a senior reporter for The Boston Globe and co-producer of “Lost Patients,” a podcast from KUOW, The Seattle Times, and NPR. “Lost Patients” examines the difficulties of treating severe mental illness, yielding critical insights as Plymouth evolves our model of care to better support our residents.
We are honored by and grateful for the generosity of our community. Each of us can help make a difference, and it takes our combined efforts to build the future of our region together.
