The 14th Annual Key to Hope Luncheon was held on Friday, September 29, and we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing group of supporters. The warmth and commitment in the room was inspiring. If you were one of the 1,350 people who attended, or if you donated in lieu of attendance, we have just one thing to say: thank you.
And, we have great news for you! Thanks to our community, we surpassed our goal and raised just over $1,000,000 at the luncheon. This has been a record-breaking year!
In his inspiring closing remarks, keynote speaker Mark Wright of KING 5 News shared part of a conversation he had with a new resident of Plymouth on First Hill. Mark summed it up: “A guy with really no material possessions feels rich… because he finally has a home where people know his name, where he’s valued, and where he can heal physically and emotionally.”
That’s exactly why we do the work we do—and it’s your commitment to supporting Plymouth’s residents that keeps us going. We simply couldn’t do this work without you. Thanks to you, we can continue to provide housing and critical supportive services to men and women like William and Sunshine, who courageously shared their stories for our annual short documentary:
