If you’re reading this post, it’s likely that you’ve received some GiveBIG communications from us recently in which we asked for your support.  Now we want to let you know the results.

It’s really impressive. In just one day of online giving, GiveBIG raised $11.1 MILLION for local nonprofits, and more than $15,000 dollars were donated to Plymouth!

As amazing as that is, it gets even better: the total gift will increase even more once the GiveBIG “stretch pool” is applied.

So…if yesterday was GiveBIG, today is THANKBig.  Thanks for supporting Plymouth yesterday and thanks for providing great word-of-mouth about Plymouth in all kinds of forms—emails, phone calls, face to face conversations, social media—over the days and weeks before GiveBIG day.

Most importantly, thanks for being champions and supporters of Plymouth all year long. You help us increase our community’s understanding of and sensitivity to the challenges surrounding homelessness. You help us grow casual supporters into issue advocates. And you help us communicate the compelling social and economic benefits that permanent, supportive housing brings to residents and to our entire community.
