At this year’s Key to Hope luncheon on September 30, we will be kicking off a new Sustaining Hope Capital Campaign to build new housing and renovate present housing.
While Plymouth is making great strides at helping to end chronic adult homelessness in our community, there is still much to be done. We are planning a new sustainably-built, green project that will provide homes for 81 people now living on the street. In addition, we will remodel another 157 apartments in two of our older, historic buildings to achieve energy savings and lower annual operating costs.
The total Sustaining Hope Campaign is $22 million and our goal is to raise $4 million in private funding.
At our luncheon this year, the appeal for gifts will support the Sustaining Hope Campaign. We are excited about this opportunity for our luncheon guests to again be part of building new capacity for Plymouth Housing Group. Our hope is that we will raise significant funding at the lunch to help build and remodel these homes.
